Heather Pries has always been driven with creativity! Growing up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado her parents always taught her to rely on her God-given gifts and use them for good purpose. You may know Heather as a kind and compassionate nurse, wife and mother of three boys, who has grown to love and serve our Big Island residents for over 21 years. But you may also know she carries with her an eye for design and a passion for creativity. She is a team player and values collaboration, satisfaction, and relationships. After training with the founder and CEO of Glass to Da Max! Kona, Heather aspired to successfully take ownership and faithfully serve her local Big Island customers since October 2020. Glass to Da Max! Kona is a family-based business. With a new heart for etching and design, Heather promises to deliver excellent service, passion to produce high-quality pieces, and custom-made artwork driven by your inspiration.

In September 1997, Margie Campbell started Glass To Da Max! Kona. At the time, she was working for Joe Ackles as Race Registration Director of Keauhou Kona Triathlon (KKT). He encouraged her to start an etching business to etch all KKT awards. Margie then reached out to her brother-in-law, who owned an etching business, to learn how to etch. From there, she provided the KKT awards for the next five years. As the business grew, she felt the Lord brought her new customers at the most opportune times. Over the years, unique requests expanded both her knowledge of etch-able materials, plus creativity to seek outside-of-the-box ways to give customers long-lasting treasures. When she planned to move off island, she looked to sell her business. Heather and Margie had been friends for years through their local church. Therefore, by prayer and careful consideration, they felt the next best step was Heather’s ownership of Glass To Da Max! Kona.
